Aleksandra is a senior associate in the dispute resolution and sanctions practices. She focuses on international litigation and advises on the sanctions regimes of various jurisdictions, including challenging sanctions listings in administrative and court proceedings.
She has experience representing clients in court and arbitration proceedings with a cross-border element, as well as in matters involving recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and court judgments. Aleksandra is the author of publications on civil (commercial) procedure, international dispute resolution and international trade law.

- a Spanish industrial company in Russian state commercial courts in proceedings for the recognition and enforcement of a foreign arbitral award (Sweden)
- Russian and Swiss companies in a Canadian court in a dispute with a supplier regarding the recovery of over USD 90 million in damages
- a Russian financial institution as a major lender (with claims exceeding EUR 70 million) in the debtor’s insolvency proceedings in Germany, including coordination of foreign counsel and interaction with the insolvency administrator
Russian litigation
Representing:
- a Russian fuel and energy company in Russian state commercial courts in its USD 1 billion dispute with a Russian bank challenging FX option agreements
- a Russian company in negotiations with a German contractor aimed at resolving disagreements and launching a unique natural gas liquefaction facility by the start of the heating season in Russia
- an Austrian construction company in Russian state commercial courts in proceedings for the issue of a writ of execution to enforce ICAC awards on the debtor
